At the meeting, Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA gave a brief introduction about the tradition of nearly 50 years of construction and maturity of the PPA of Vietnam as well as directions in education and training of the Academy. The Vice President emphasized that the PPA has been expanding its international cooperation with reputable police training institutions and international organizations in the world through activities relating to education and training such as exchange of delegations, exchange of students, training courses to improve the capacity of crime prevention and control for the police force; high-level lecture training, investing facilities for teaching, learning and research.

On behalf of the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Myanmar, Major General Aung Soe, Deputy Minister expressed his impression on the development, scale of training and international cooperation activities of the PPA, especially in the context for current international integration. He said before the non-traditional security challenges, change in modus operandi of crimes, including increase of transnational organized crime, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Myanmar has been actively expanding international cooperation in crime prevention. On that basis, the friendly side expressed the desire to carry out cooperation activities with the PPA to strengthen cooperation between the two ministries in particular and the two States in general.

At the meeting, Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the Academy affirmed that the PPA always attaches great importance to the traditional relationship between Vietnam and Myanmar. He hoped that after this meeting the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Myanmar would be interested in developing and implementing cooperation activities between the PPA of Vietnam and police training institutions in Myanmar.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Myanmar visited the facilities and cultural works of the Academy such as Le Quan Library, Temple of Literature of the PPA, Monument  of President Ho Chi Minh and the Ex-Minister of Home Affairs, Ministry of Public Security through the periods, etc.
