On August 18th 2017, PPA organized a meeting and performances with the theme “Friendship and solidarity” to welcome the year of solidarity and friendship of three countries of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
There was the presence of
Lieutenant General Le Van De, Deputy Director of General Political
Department; General Menhxothiwan, Head of the Art Group, Ministry of
Home Affairs of the Kingdom of Cambodia; Colonel Unlachanphaluong,
Deputy General Director of the General Department of Lao’s Public
Security Ministry, the delegations and students of two countries
studying at the Academy.
On the side of the People's Police
Academy, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the
Academy; Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice
President together with representatives of departments of the Academy
attended the meeting.

The delegation took the memorial photo at cultural structures of the Academy
Locating
on the Indochinese Peninsula, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia have always
supported and helped each other in all circumstances. The three
countries stood side by side in the fighting against the invaders in the
revolutionary years. Till now, all three countries are striving to
build prosperity for peace and development. With the determination of
three countries, the development triangle of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia
has achieved good results in many fields: economy, culture, society,
etc. Those are proofs for solidarity, friendship, cooperation and
development for the common interests of the ASEAN countries and regions.
In
addition, cooperative activities in the field of education and training
of the three countries have great development. Over 50 years of
building and development, the PPA is proud to be the training and
fostering institution of more than 1,000 cadres, leaders and commanders
of Laos and Cambodia. Currently, the Academy is training 203 Laos
students with 12 PhD students, 10 MA students and 181 graduate students;
the Academy has been training two graduate courses and a number of
fostering courses for officials and leaders of the Ministry of Home
Affairs of the Kingdom of Cambodia. This result has strengthened the
close relationship between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam
and the Ministry of Public Security of Laos and the Ministry of Home
Affairs of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Many cadres trained by the PPA have
made great contributions to the Cause of national security protection,
ensuring social order and safety in Laos and Cambodia.
The show
“Friendship and solidarity” is a special opportunity for cadres and
students of the PPA to gain more knowledge about the special cultural
traditions of other countries, contributing to strengthen the friendship
and cooperation of three countries. The performances are the symbol of
solidarity of three countries and valuable spiritual legacy to educate
the traditions for generations in the future.
