On
August 12th, 2017, the PPA delegation visited and assisted the people of
Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province and Muong La district, Son La
province to overcome the consequences after the disaster.
In the face of serious damage of the
people in the Northwest mountainous provinces, Lieutenant General
Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA called on all officers and
students to support the Northwest people to overcome the consequences
after disaster. On the day of launching, the officers of the PPA donated
over 100 million VND and many essential items.
On the morning of August 12th, the delegation of the PPA visited, encouraged and
supported
the people of Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province and Muong La
districts, Son La province. These are two localities suffered heavy
consequences in the recent flash flood.
In
Yen Bai province, the delegation led by Major General Tran Minh Chat,
Vice President of the PPA visited Mu Cang Chai Primary School and
Secondary School, Lao Chai Primary School and Hoa Lan Kindergarten. The
PPA supported 6,000 notebooks, 100 sets of table and chair of Xuan Hoa
furniture, 6 sets of projectors and 120 pairs of slippers for students.

away by the flood water and families of five officers of Mu Cang Chai
district police who suffered damage after floods
In
Muong La district, Son La province, the Nam Pam bridge leading into new
villages is re-circulated. However, the two sides of the road is still a
devastated landscape, stones falling down from the mountain and the
uprooting trees caused many difficulties in traffic. Nearly 400
households losing their homes are still try to set up tents and build
houses.

million VND to the Disaster Prevention Fund to help the people of Muong
La district, Son La province overcome difficulties after floods
In
the face of difficulties, shortages and grief surrounding the local
people, the delegation of the PPA led by Major General Nguyen Van Nhat -
Vice President of the Academy donated 100 million VND to the Disaster
Prevention Fund of Muong La district, Son La province.
Mr.
Nguyen Thanh Cong - Secretary of Muong La District Party Committee
said: “Every heart, every support to the people in the flood area at
this time is very precious. In pain, the supports from the kind heart
helps the people in the flood area overcome the situation”
The
PPA has supported the two localities with the total amount of 200
million VND. The gifts to the flood victims express the hearts of
officers, lecturers and students of the PPA with the expectation that
the people will overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives soon.
