At the conference, Senior Colonel, Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the PPA announced the report on results of the academic year 2015 - 2016, implementing the task of the new school year 2016 - 2017.

In the academic year 2015 - 2016, with the Action Motto "Actively - Discipline - Responsibility - Efficiency", the PPA continued to define the theme "Standardization and Computerization" and the determination to implement 4 emulations and 3 breakthroughs. Accordingly, the PPA gained many important achievements in all assigned political tasks. The Party Committee, Board of Directorate has regularly been interested in the political, ideological education and material and spiritual life for officers, lecturers and students, creating the high-consensus in the whole Academy, contributing to strengthening discipline and gradually improving the position and prestige of the Academy.

During the academic year, the PPA has been recognized as the key high education institution of the Ministry of Public Security. Many new divisions of the PPA was founded as the Institute of Police Science, Faculty of Waterway Police, Faculty of Police Consultancy and Commanding, Training Centers for Lecturer and Title, Center for Police Professional Training and Practice, contributing to expand the training scale of the Academy.

Summing-up the academic year 2015 - 2016, 04 divisions were honored to present the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Public Security; 04 divisions were honored to present emulation flag of the General Department of Politics, 19 divisions were presented the Excellent Title, 15 divisions were presented the title of Advanced Title; 129 individuals were awarded the Title of Basic Emulation Soldier, 828 individuals was awarded the Advanced Soldier.

Also at the conference, 30 individuals (Leaders and former leaders of the PPA) was honored to receive the second and third class Fatherland Defense Order for for their outstanding achievement in training, fighting, building the Public Security forces, maintaining political security and social order and safety, contributing to the Cause of building and defending the Fatherland. On this occasion, 03 officers were presented the 30-year old Party badge.

Continue to promote the gained achievements, in the new academic year 2016 - 2017, on the basis of the MPS’s Action Motto “Actively - Discipline - Responsibility - Efficiency", the People's Police Academy identified the Action Motto of the Academy is: " Traditional promotion – solidarity, consensus for comprehensive innovation - towards the future" with the theme of the year: "Standardization, Computerization, Modernization" with the Action Slogan: "4 Emulations, 3 Breakthroughs"; simultaneously, continuing to promote the tradition of Hero units of the People's Armed Forces; building the Academy solidarity, consensus; actively innovating comprehensively to implement effectively the tasks of education, training and scientific research assigned by the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Education and Training; strengthening and improving the effectiveness of training and retraining of officers and lecturers; Improving teaching content and methods; improving the efficiency of managing the officers, lecturers and students; building the Green - Clean - Nice environment; striving for building the Academy becoming the key education institutions of the National in 2018.

Attending and directing the Conference Major General, Prof.Dr. Bui Minh Giam, Deputy General Director of Political General Department high-appreciated the achievements of the PPA in the academic year 2015 - 2016, and confirmed the PPA’s orientation and action motto in training in the new academic year was entirely right and suitable for the training practices and requirements of the MPS in general and the Political General Department in particular. He hoped that in the new academic year, the Academy would continue to bring into play the gained achievements, make efforts to improve the quality of education and training to deserve with the position as one of the leading education institutions of the Ministry of Public Security.
