The ceremony had the presence of Senior Lieutenant General, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Minister of Public Security; Major General Nguyen Minh Tuan, Deputy Chief of Office of the Public Security Ministry; Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Ngoc Can - Deputy Director General of Political General Department - Ministry of Public Security; representatives of the Departments of the Political General Department, Police General Department, General Department of Police for Criminal Enforcement and Justice Assistance, High Command of the Mobile Police, Department of Traffic Police, representatives of Publics Security force of provinces and cities; representatives from the Department of Higher Education - Ministry of Education and Training. Attending the ceremony were representative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Vietnam; representative of Security Ministry of Laos. On the side of the PPA were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA; the members of the Party Committee, the Directorate of the PPA; representatives of the Faculties, Departments, Boards, Centers of the PPA; especially the parents and the new bachelors of the course D37, D24 Laos and D1 Cambodia.

After 05 years of study, practice at the PPA, 911 students of the course D37, D24 Laos and D1 Cambodia completed the curiculum with outstanding results: over 94% of students achieved the good and excellent learning results; 100% of students achieve the outcome standards in professional knowledge, politics, computing, foreign languages, shooting, martial arts; 100% of students completed the training courses on intermediate level of politics before graduation. This was the result of closely leadership, direction of the leaders of Ministry of Public Security, the Political General Department of Public Security force, the General Departments, Departments under the Ministry of Public Security; the direct leadership of the Party Committee, the Directorate of the PPA together with the efforts of all officers, lecturers, employees; the attention, education and support of the parents and especially the determination of students of course D37, D24 Laos and D1 Cambodia.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Minister of Public Security congratulated the new bachelors, new police officers of the course D37, D24 Laos and D1 Cambodia and hoped that they would continue to improve the professional knowledge, follow the Six Advices of Uncle Ho to the Public Security force; actively connect with lecturers, with the Vietnam’s PPA to study, exchange the practical experience during the fight against crime.

On this occasion, the Vice Minister of Public Security praised the efforts in the renovation process of the education and training at the PPA such as: positive renovation of education and training methods in the form of credit; renovation of curriculum, attachment of training and practice; increasingly standardized lecturers; strengthening the international cooperation with international organizations, the police force of countries such as Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Russian Federation, the Commonwealth of Australia, etc. In the coming time, the PPA had to promote researching the curiculum to attach with the practice and meet the requirements of combating and preventing crime in the context of globalization and international integration currently. The Vice Minister Nguyen Van Thanh believed that the PPA would promote the heroic tradition to sustainable development, to become a trusted institution in the field of education and training of the Public Security forces in particular and of the nation in general.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the Directorate of the PPA, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA promised to acquire and fully grasp the direction of the Vice Minister. With the motto “Tradition - Innovation - Dynamics - Development” and tradition of Hero of People's Armed Forces, the PPA would continue to enhance the modernization, computerization, associate the training with practice, expand the international relations, focus on research, solve the new problems in security and social order, the training renovation of Public Security force and nation; strives to become a key university of the nation, a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary training institution, a police training center in the region.
