The Meeting was attended by Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA; Captain Pham Van Doan, Secretary of Youth Union of General Political Department; Captain Le Van Tu, Secretary of the Youth Union of PPA; leaders and representatives of the units; representatives of Women Union, the Trade Union of the PPA and formers Secretary of the PPA’s Youth Union. Attending the Meeting was also the officers and students of the Royal Thai Police Academy who were training at the PPA.

After giving the speech to review the history, development of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union as well as the glorious tradition of the youth’s generations of Vietnam and summarizing the achievements and rewards of the PPA’s Youth Union, Captain Le Van Tu, Secretary of the Youth Union of PPA officially launched the special emulation to welcome 16^th Party Congress of People's Police Academy (term 2015-2020) with 6 main contents and received the enthusiastic responses from all members of Youth Union of PPA.

Speaking at the Meeting, Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA congratulated the achievements that Youth Academy had achieved in recent years and warmly praised the Youth Union for initiatively launching the special emulation to welcome 16^th Party Congress of People's Police Academy. To organize the special emulation and improve the quality and effectiveness of the youth movement in the coming time, the Vice President of the PPA required the Youth Union to focus on the some following contents:

First, research for innovation in education of politics and ideology for the youths; maintain and organize effectively the movements of the youths.

Second, combine the activities, the movements of the Youth Union with the requirements of political tasks of the Academy, the units and each member of the Youth Union; use the results of professional tasks to evaluate the activities’ efficiency of the youth.

Third, continue to renovate, improve the contents, organization forms of the activities and youth movements to really attract a large of the youth to participate voluntarily, actively and effectively.

Fourth, take advantage of direction of the party committees, leaders of the units; promptly propose the difficulties in the implementation process to be get the direct and help.

Fifth, as for the key officers of the Youth Union, continue to promote the exemplary spirit, self-improvement and help the other members of the Youth Union in learning, working and participating in the movement.

Sixth, praise the good individuals, the collectives and overcome the shortcomings, limitations in the youth movements; enhance the propaganda on the website of the Academy about the activities of the Youth Union.

Major General Dang Xuan Khang also believed that the youths of the PPA would continue to promote the gained achievements to contribute to the development of the Academy to build the PPA to become the key training institution of Ministry of Public Security and of the State.
