The Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security sent a congratulatory flower to the PPA. Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr Nguyen Minh Duc, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security; representatives of the units under the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of National Defense; international delegations from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and South Korea. On the side of the Academy, there were former Presidents of the Academy, members of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and representatives of officers, lecturers, and cadets of the Academy.

In the academic year 2022 - 2023, with the close attention and guidance of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the coordination and assistance of functional agencies, units, all officers, lecturers, and cadets of the PPA made efforts to fulfill the political requirements and tasks set for the academic year, achieved numerous significant results in various aspects of work.

The PPA continues to proactively and progressively innovate to improve the quality of education and training; strengthen legal knowledge, professional skills, and theoretical-practical integration in training, and create a diverse and creative learning environment. The construction of training programs receives attention and is being implemented with the completion of the program system, course outlines, textbooks, and teaching materials for different training and fostering systems.

The management and education of cadets are well maintained, ensuring discipline and order. Activities such as quality assurance, examinations, assessments of teaching and learning outcomes, lecturer training are being implemented with great attention, resulting in many positive changes.

Scientific research activities continue to be emphasized, focusing deeply on theoretical and practical issues, in order to timely propose and advise the leaders of the Ministry on appropriate policies and measures for crime prevention and control, ensuring social order and safety, while also contributing to improve the quality of education and training. The PPA has organized 24 scientific conferences at all levels and 51 seminars; implemented 03 state-level research works, 18 ministry-level research works, 01 provincial-level research work, 42 basic-level research works, and published nearly 1,000 articles in journals, conference proceedings, and seminars both domestically and internationally.

The Academy continues to do well in training and improving the capacity of its officers and lecturers. In the academic year, the Academy has an additional 04 senior lecturers, 46 lecturers; 02 comrades are recommended for the title of Excellent Teacher. Currently, the Academy is at the forefront among the training institutions of the People's Public Security with a highly qualified team of lecturers, including 02 Professors, 38 Associate Professors, 226 Doctors, 547 Masters, 145 Senior Lecturers, and 250 Lecturers; meeting the requirements of training, fostering officers and soldiers for the People's Public Security force in new situations.

International activities and cooperation are proactively and effectively implemented, contributing to improving management capacity, scientific research, training, and fostering of officers and lecturers. The party and political affairs have actively adhered to the political tasks and achieved many important results.

Especially, in the academic year 2022 - 2023, the PPA celebrated the 55th founding anniversary with vibrant and meaningful activities, leaving a deep impression on generations of officers, cadets as well as domestic and international delegates. At the end of the academic year, the Academy was honored to receive the second-class Labour Order and proposed to be awarded the Government's Emulation Flag, continuing to maintain its leading position in the emulation movement among the training institutions of the People's Public Security Force.

Proud of the glorious tradition of the unit, which has been awarded the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces twice, the PPA’s officers, lecturers, and cadets are ready to step into the new academic year 2023 - 2024 with the motto “Proactive - Exemplary - Disciplined - Responsible - Effective”.
