From the Ministry of Public Security also attending the Ceremony were Major General Ngo Hoai Thu, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Affairs; Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan, Vice President of PPA.

Following the success of the youth volunteer summer programs in previous years, the Summer 2023 Youth Volunteer Program was launched in the pivotal year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 12th National Congress of the Youth Union and the Action Plan for the Youth Union tasks and Movement of the youth of People's Public Security in the period of 2022 - 2027.

This is also the peak time of youth activities for the Youth Union of People’s Public Security at all levels to improve work performance, especially the task of completing targets set in Government's Project 6; it is an opportunity for young police officers to promote their responsibility to the society, volunteer to work with the community, join hands in building a new-type countryside and advanced urban centers with civilization in association with performing the task of protecting national security, ensure social order and safety and build a solid people's security posture from the groundwork.

Lieutenant Colonel Dong Duc Vu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Head of the People's Public Security Youth, launched the Summer 2023 Youth Volunteer Program

The Summer 2023 Youth Volunteer Program starts from June 1 to the end of August 31, 2023. With the motto of widespreadness, safety, effectiveness, and sustainability, the 90 days of the Volunteer Police Youth Campaign Summer 2023 will be a lively and practical environment for youth union members to practice, dedicate themselves and grow up gradually.

Under the authorization of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Major General Ngo Hoai Thu addresses and assigns tasks to youth members of the People's Public Security

Within the framework of the Launching Ceremony, the youth People's Public Security supported the construction of 01 school site in Son La province; received financial resources and supported to build 05 houses, 200 national flags, 04 “Children's playing area”, 01 project  “Light of green island”, transfered 03 economic development models; awarded 20 scholarships and many other school supplies with a total amount of 800 million VND. Through these activities, the youth of the People's Public Security Forces wished to express the spirit of unity and mutual love, sharing a part of difficulties with remote areas, border areas, islands and families, and fishermen people in difficult circumstances.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, all levels of the Youth Union in People's Public Security respond simultaneously with many meaningful activities, create an exciting emulation round, continuing to ignite the fire of enthusiasm and the relentless dedication of the youth of the People's Public Security, practically establishing achievements to celebrate the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation and towards the 78th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces, the 18th anniversary of the All People's National Security Protection Day.
