Graduation ceremony and awarding postgraduate degrees for year 2023

Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong, President of the PPA delivered a speech at the ceremony

The PPA is one of the two key higher education institutions of the Public Security forces, assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to train high-quality human resources for the entire forces in general and for the People's Public Security forces in particular.     

After over 30 years of postgraduate education, the PPA has conducted 27 doctoral research courses, 31 master's courses with over 600 research students who have been granted doctoral degrees, and more than 5,000 master's graduates, including students from neighbouring countries like Laos and Cambodia.

In 2023, the PPA had 54 research students and 170 master's students who successfully defended their doctoral dissertations and master's theses. The research topics all address urgent issues in theoretical and practical aspects of crime prevention, state management of order and security, enhancing managerial and professional capabilities.

It is evident that the postgraduate training of the PPA have established a significant position, making substantial contributions to the development of education and training, science and technology, theoretical advancement, as well as addressing strategic tasks related to national security and order.
