1.  This is the first time the thesis systematically studies the prevention of crime violating regulations on the control of road transport in accordance with the functions of the traffic police force; clarifies theoretical issues of the prevention of crime violating regulations on the control of road transport in accordance with the functions of the traffic police force such as: definition, characteristics of crime violating regulations on the control of road transport, concept, content, method, coordinating relations of the traffic police force in prevention of crime violating regulations on the control of road transport in accordance with the functions of the traffic police force

2.  The thesis analyzes, evaluates in a comprehensive manner about the situation on crime violating regulations on the control of road transport in the whole country; clearly showes the characteristics of this kind of crime in Vietnam in recent years.

3.  The thesis analyzes in-depth the situation on the prevention of crime violating regulations on the control of road transport of the traffic police force, showing the advantages, limitations and reasons, while helping the traffic police force to overcome the shortcomings to improve the effectiveness of the prevention of crime violating regulations on the control of road transport next time.

4.  The thesis gives the forcast about the factors affecting the prevention of crime violating regulations on the control of road transport next time, proposing the feasible solutions for the traffic police force to apply in order to enhance the effectiveness of the prevention of crime violating regulations on the control of road transport next time.
