New contributions of the thesis:

The thesis is the first study that researched systematically and comprehensively on the investigation of robbery cases caused by criminal gangs with the following new points:

- The thesis launched the concept of robbery crime, criminal gang, robbery crime caused by criminal gangs; concept of investigation of robbery cases caused by criminal gangs; at the same time, analyzed the characteristics of robbery gangs, the characteristics of the investigation of robbery cases caused by criminal gangs;

- The thesis studied systematically and comprehensively on the issue of the investigation of robbery cases caused by criminal gangs in Vietnam; indicate the contents, forces, measures, means and relationship of coordination, direction to investigate the robbery cases caused by criminal gangs.

- The thesies clarified the reality of investigating the robbery cases caused by criminal gangs, made the comments, evaluated the strengths, the shortcomings and its causes in the real investigation for this crime.
