1. The thesis develops and completes the theoretical system on preventing crimes of fraud and appropriation of citizen’s property according to the functions of the Economic Police force of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, such as: the concept and characteristics of prevention activities. At the same time, it presents the content and measures for preventing this crime.

2. The thesis presents several new methods and tactics of crimes of fraud and appropriation of citizen’s property in the Lao People's Democratic Republic, which have emerged in recent times, such as: using advanced technology to commit fraud and property appropriation, online fraud, etc.

3. Through practical surveys, the thesis provides comments and evaluations on the advantages, limitations, and shortcomings on preventing crimes of fraud and appropriation of citizen’s property according to the functions of the Economic Police force of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, along with the causes of these limitations and shortcomings.

4. The thesis forecasts the situation of crimes of fraud and appropriation of citizen’s property in the future, as a basis for developing a system of solutions to enhance the effectiveness of preventing such crimes according to the functions of the Economic Police force of the Lao People's Democratic Republic. In particular, the thesis proposes improvements to the coordination regulations between the Economic Police force and other agencies and forces in preventing and combating crimes of fraud and appropriation of citizen’s property./.
