New contributions of the thesis:

1. The thesis analyzed and clarified the theoretical issues on preventing recidivism under the function of the Criminal police force, including: concept, content, methods as well as the coordination relationship within and outside the police force in order to prevent recidivism.

2. The thesis surveyed, analyzed, evaluated then draw a number of conclusions on the situation, relevant features and the current status of preventing recidivism under the function of the Criminal police force; indicating the evaluations, advantages as well as shortcomings, reasons for those shortcomings in preventing recidivism under the function of the Criminal police force.

3. On the basis of theoretical research and the reality of activities of preventing recidivism under the function of the Criminal police force, which have been researched and analyzed, the thesis scientifically forecasted and proposed 07 solutions in order to improve the efficiency of preventing recidivism in the coming time.
