New contributions of the thesis:
1. The thesis has systematically analyzed and clarified the perception of the theory of preventing the identity-related crimes in Viet Nam. In particular, the thesis has generalized and clarified the concepts of crime, identity-related crimes, the prevention of identity-related crimes. Additionally, the thesis has analyzed and clarified the characteristics, main content, and specific countermeasures of the prevention of identity-related crimes.

2. The thesis has presented the criminology characteristics of identity-related crimes by using software named SPSS to analyzed a total of 118 cases/228 subjects/185 victims. At the same time, the thesis has assessed the organizational structure of the functioning agencies; the situation of the prevention against identity-related crimes under functioning agencies’ perspective divided into two stages: 2010 – 7/2018 and 8/2018 – 2022.

3. The thesis has systematically, summarized and made comments and assessments on the advantages and results achieved in the practice of preventing the identity-related crimes. At the same time, the dissertation clearly shows the limitations, shortcomings and causes of the limitations and shortcomings that need to be improved. These assessments are objective, highly generalized, making the awareness of this activity profound and close to reality.

4. The thesis raised scientific forecasts and solutions to help cybersecurity forces improve their performance of preventing identity-related crimes. The proposed solutions are relevant, suitable to the actual situation and highly feasible. These are solutions have not been mentioned in any other published studies.
