1. The thesis surveys and analyzes some typical domestic and foreign projects that related to the Investigation of smuggling based on the functions of the Ha Noi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh Economic Police. Accordingly, the thesis identifies the issues that need to continue research and solve in the thesis.  

2. The thesis analyzes clearly the theoretical issues of the investigation of smuggling based on the functions of the Ha Noi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh Economic Police: the concept, features, role, legal basis, contents, measures and coordinative relationships in the investigation of smuggling of the Ha Noi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh Economic Police... 

3. The thesis surveys and explores the situation of the investigation of smuggling based on the functions of the Ha Noi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh Economic Police from 2010 to 2021. The thesis also draws comments and evaluates the achieved results with limitations, shortcomings and the causes of limitations and shortcomings on the investigation of smuggling based on the functions of the Ha Noi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh Economic Police. 

4. Forecasting the basis of  the affected factors on Investigation of smuggling based on the functions of the Ha Noi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh Economic Police. From that, the thesis develops feasible and practical solutions system. The thesis could be applied to improve the investigation of smuggling based on the functions of the Ha Noi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh Economic Police in the coming time. 

The thesis has a lot of scientific value, that can be used in the process of research, training, compiling textbooks, materials reference for training facilities of People’s Police Force.
