New contributions of the thesis:

1. To develop a theoretical system of seeking evidence in investigation of murder case such as: concepts, characteristics, methods, measures, legal basis, process, order and coordination relationship in seeking evidence according to the function of the Investigation Police force of the Ministry of Public Security of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

2. Since the survey results, it is shown that the situation of murder in Lao PDR is very complicated and the subject of criminal acts has many tricks to hide and destroy traces and exhibits that make it difficult to search during murder case investigation of the Investigation Police force of Lao Ministry of Public Security.

3. To propose the General Department of Police to coordinate with the Department of Investigation Police to propose the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to issue legal documents regulating seeking evidence in investigation of murder case to create the legal basis for the Investigation Police force nationwide. In order to improve the effectiveness of professional measures as well as strengthen the leadership and direction, it is nesscessary to have a plan to improve the qualifications of officers in charge of seeking evidence; create favorable conditions to provide sufficient material and technical means for the Investigation Police force to serve the seeking evidence in investigation of murder case.
