Under the approval of the Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the People’s Police Academy (PPA) has been cooperating with Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University) to establish and implement a joint master program on cyber security within the framework of Project on “Training cadres abroad using state budget for the 2013-2020 period" (Decision No. 599/QD-TTg dated 17/4/2013).

Implemented the Decision of the Leaders of Ministry of Public Security (MPS), a business delegation of MPS lead by Senior Colonel, Associate Professor Tran Nguyen Quan - Deputy Director of Police Science Institute of the People’s Police Academy attended the 8th ASEANAPOL Training Cooperation Meeting (APTCM) in Singapore. A representative of Training Department of MPS also attended the delegation.

Within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Australian Federal Police (AFP), in November 17th 2017, participants of ARLEMP 44 delivered presentations at the People’s Police Academy (PPA) on the topic of cybercrime prevention and suppression.

On 29th September, 2017, PPA organized a Closing ceremony of the specialized English training course for Traffic Police Force, Hanoi Public Security.

On September 20th, 2017, the PPA solemnly held the opening ceremony of Vietnamese - Japanese Cultural Hall.

With the approval of the Ministry of Public Security and the support of the Regional English Language Office at the US Embassy in Hanoi, on September 11th, 2017, the PPA organized the opening ceremony of an ESP training course for 30 officers of Hanoi Traffic Police.

On August 30th, 2017, the delegation from the British Government visited and worked with the PPA. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Vice President of the PPA presided over the meeting with the delegation.

On August 4th, 2017, Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Vice President of the PPA had a meeting with the delegation from Royal Thai Border Patrol Police Bureau led by Colonel Phaithun Kulatnam - Deputy Director of Special Training Center.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Public Security, the delegation of the PPA including the leaders and experts of the PPA, C42 Department and Ha Nam Police Department, led by Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA worked in the United States and Canada.

With the approval of Leaders of Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, during the visit to Vietnam to attend Vietnam CEO Submit 2017 of Professor Fredmund Malik, within the cooperation program between Malik Management Institute and Ministry of Public Security, Prof. Doctor Fredmund Malik visited and delivered a presentation at the PPA on the topic “Applying Systems Thinking and Malik Management Systems in social management and security management”. On behalf of the Board of Director of PPA, Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr Dang Xuan Khang - Vice President of PPA welcomed and worked with Professor Fredmund Malik.

On July 11th, 2017, leaders of the PPA had a working session with the high-level delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Myanmar led by Major General Aung Soe, Deputy Minister on the occasion the delegation attended the fifth Vietnam-Myanmar Security Dialogue at Deputy Ministerial level in Hanoi.

From June 06th - 10th, 2017, the PPA delegation led by Senior Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan, Vice President of the Academy attended the 2nd China-ASEAN Police Principal Forum and law enforcement capacity-building round table in Yunnan - China.

On May 30th, 2017, the PPA and the delegation of New South Wales Police jointly held a presentation on common police terms and phrases for students of English for Police specialty.
