Continuing the project
"Strengthening of English language capacity for Vietnamese police
force" from February, 2015 supported by the US Embassy in Hanoi, on
December 14th, 2015, Major General, Assoc.Prof Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice
President of the PPA had a meeting with the partners of the US Embassy in Hanoi
led by Mr. Rex Roberson, Director of International Narcotics and Law
Enforcement (INL) in Bangkok, Thailand and Diane Michele Millar, Director of
the Regions English Language Office (RELO), leaders of International
Cooperation Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages and the English lecturers
used to participating in the training courses on building the English language training
program in March, 2015.

At the invitation of the University of Moscow - the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs, with the consent of Vietnam Ministry of Public Security’s Leaders,Major General, Asooc.Prof.Dr. Dang Xuan Khang,Vice President of the PPA led a delegation to visit and work with the University of Moscow – the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs from November 16th to 19th ,2015. While working in the Russian Federation, the PPA Delegation had many practical and effective activities.

In the framework of the Master's degree joint
program between the PPA and the University of Maryland, USA on
Criminal Justice, from November 30th – December 4th, 2015,
the University of Maryland appointed Prof. Lawrence Sherman to teach the
special subject on Police Science at the PPA.

Implementing
the Cooperation Agreement on training between the Ministry of Public Security
of Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Public Security of Laos
P.D.R, on November 27th, 2015, the PPA formally held the closing ceremony of
criminal investigation police training course for the Ministry of Public Security
of Lao P.D.R.

With the consent of the Ministry of Public Security
(MPS), on December 7th, 2015, the PPA organized the Opening ceremony of
integrated border management operational training course for law enforcement
officers in the ASEAN member countries to be held by the INTERPOL and the launching
of the International & ASEAN Cooperation Study Centre of the PPA.

The Board of Directors of the PPA sent a thank letter to the University
of Moscow - the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation for
supporting enthusiastically and helping thoughtfully the delegation of the PPA
in the visit and work trip at the University of Moscow from October 16th to
November 19th, 2015. The Website Editorial Board is pleased to publish the full
contents of the letter in English and Russian language.

In the international cooperation framework of the MPS, the high-ranking delegation of the People's Public Security University of China came to Vietnam for visiting and working with the PPA from 10th ,11th to November 14th 2015. The delegation had 5 members, led by Ms. Tich Diem Le, Vice-President and members were Head of Postgraduate Education Institution, Head of Training Management, Deputy Head of Student Management and Vice Manager of Magazine.

In the framework of
cooperative regulations by the ASEANPOL and implementation of the Ministry of
Public Security’s Decision, the Vietnamese police delegation led by Major
General, Assoc.Prof Pham Ngoc Ha, Vice President of the PPA attended the 6th ASEANAPOL Police-Training
Cooperative Conference (APTCM) in Jakarta city, the capital of Republic
of Indonesia.

Under

Directors, on November 5th, 2015, the PPA in cooperation with the US
Embassy in Vietnam held a talk between Mrs.Karen Finkenbinder - Expert on
peacekeeping in the US Defense Cooperation and the Academy students on the
theme "US Police force in federalism ".

On
the occasion of 98 years Anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (7/11/
1917-7/11/2015), on November 5th, 2015, the PPA held a meeting with
the former-postgraduate and students who used to research and study in the
Soviet Union and the Russian Federation. Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen
Xuan Yem, President of the PPA attended and chaired the meeting.

On October 27th,
2015, at the PPA, Senior
Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the Academy welcomed
Mrs. Aurelia Micko and Mr. Rene Acosta - Delegates from the United States
Agency for International Development (USAID). Attending the working session was
the presence of Mr. Sulma Warne - Deputy Director of the Freeland Non-Government
Organization in Bangkok and representatives of some functional units of the PPA.

With the consent of the Board of Directors of PPA, from 11 to October 16th, 2015, the PPA arranged for the students of 2nd Master's degree joint program between the PPA and the University of Maryland, USA to be on a studying tour at the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City, the Public Security Department of Dong Nai and Tien Giang provinces.

Implementing the Direction of MPS, the delegation of Women's Union of MPS consisting of 3 cadres of the Department of Legal Affair and Justice-Administration Procedure Reform, the PPA and the PPS attended the International Women in Law Enforcement Conference – Leadership, Collaboration & Security 2015 from Oct 6th to 8th, 2015 in the Indian National Police Academy, Hydrabad city, India.

On 21/10/2015, at the PPA, the Lieutenant-General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem – President of the PPA had a courteous meeting with Mr. Chistohvalov Andrey Victorovoch - Assistant Principal in charge of further education of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) and Ms. Bakasova Elena Shamilievna - Rector of the General School for Foreigners the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The meeting also Leadership of the International Cooperation Department, Student Office and Faculty of Criminal Engineering.
