As a part of framework of project on strengthening traffic police training in PPA and various police training institutes in Vietnam supported by the Japane International Cooperation Agency (JICA), on May 23rd, the PPA held the traffic police training equipment handover ceremony for the academy.
Attending were Lieutenant General Bui Quang Ben, the Central Committee member, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Motonori Tsuno, Chief Representative of JICA office at Vietnam, Sugiyama Daisuke, Japanese ambassador to Vietnam and consultative expert group of the JICA.
As of the PPA, there were Major General, Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of the PPA, members of the Director Board, leaders and lecturers of the traffic police faculty and the functional units within the PPA.

In the context of traffic safety and order is now more complicated, the traffic police are faced with many difficulties and even danger to their lives while performing their duties, the Japan International cooperation JICA has decided to support the Academy CSND facilities for traffic police training. At the ceremony, Motonori Tsuno, Chief Representative of JICA Office at Vietnam has transferred 2 patrol cars and 10 motorcycles to the Academy. These facilities will help support improving skills of complex transport operation for traffic police, help students perform their tasks more safely after graduation.
