Under
cooperation Agreement on training between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam
and the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia, on August 16th, 2013, the PPA formally
held the opening ceremony on economic police training course for the Ministry
of Interior of Cambodia.
Attending the
ceremony were Lieutenant General, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Tu, Deputy Director
General of General Department of Building up Forces; Major General,
Assoc.Prof.Dr Pham Ngoc Ha, Vice President of the PPA and leaders of the
functional divisions within the PPA.
The course will
last in three months with participation of 20 Cambodian police officials. During
the training course at the PPA, the trainees will focus on researching and
exchanging the main contents of basic issues relating to organization, professional
activities on economic management in economy-related crime prevention,
professional knowledge on reconnaissance in anti-economic crime as well as
preventing the specific economy-related crimes.

To gain
effectiveness of the training course, the PPA cooperated with units inside and
outside the police force to compile training materials to be used for the
course and the full-experienced scientists and leaders of the relevant
departments, general department of the MPS will be invited to conduct the
lectures for the course.
