On October 13th
,2016, the People's Police Academy, General Political Department of the
People's Public Security held a ceremony to announce decision of the Minister
of Public Security to appoint the Major General, Prof. Dr. Ho Trong Ngu to
be Vice President of of PPA.
Attending and leading the ceremony was the Major General,
Assoc.Prof. Dr Do Ngoc Can, Deputy General Director of the General Political
Department of People's Public Security, Party members, the PPA, Board of
Directors and representatives of functional agencies, public organizations of
the Academy.

Authorized by the Minister of Public Security, the leadership
of the General Political Department of People’s Public Security, Major General,
Assoc.Prof. Dr Do Ngoc Can - Deputy Director General presented the Decision to
appoint the Major General, Prof. Dr. Ho Trong Ngu, former Deputy Chairman of NA
Defense and Security Committee (Section XIII) as Vice President of PPA. The
Major General Do Ngoc Can emphasized: the Major General, Prof. Dr. Ho Trong Ngu
is basically trained, matured in fighting practice of the People's Public
Security, always upholding responsibility, pioneer, model, activeness and
creativeness. The Major General Ho Trong Ngu used to work at the People's Police
Academy, dedicated and well-experienced in teaching and scientific research.
Since his appointment to be Deputy Chairman of NA Defense and Security
Committee, the Major General Ho Trong Ngu has always successfully completed
duties, contributed improving security of the country. With his new position,
the Major General Ho Trong Ngu will promote his working capabilities, fulfill
education and training management duties in the People's Police Academy,
together with the Board of Directors to develop the academy and turn it become
national key academy in 2018.

Speaking to receive duties, the Major
General, Prof. Dr. Ho Trong Ngu promised to constantly practice political and

successfully complete education and training duties, be worthy of the trust of
the Party, the State, the Sector and the PPA.
