The conference was attended by Colonel Vu Tien Inh - Deputy Director of Training Department, General Political Department of Public Security; Colonel Tran Hai Quan - Head of Organization and Personnel Division, Hanoi Public Security Department; representatives of Department of roadway and railway traffic police, Public Security force of Cau Giay, Tu Liem Nam, Bac Tu Liem Districts, Temporary detention camp No. 1 - Hanoi Public Security Department. On the side of the PPA were Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat, Vice President of the PPA; officers and students of the PPA.

 reported the results after 2-year pilot implementation of the Plan

The Pilot Plan for training renovation on the model of practice - study was built in school year 2014-2015 in order to achieve the objectives of renewing the work of education and training; renewing the content, program and training management methods, practicing the professional skills; enhancing the ability to handle real situations and minimizing re-training process to meet the requirements of the practical work after graduation. The Pilot Plan was deployed for specialty of traffic police of course D37 in school year 2014-2015 and specialty of Administration on Social Order, specialty of Management, education and rehabilitation of prisoners in school year 2015-2016.

Over 2-year pilot, on the basis of cooperation between the PPA and Hanoi Public Security Department, Hanoi Traffic Police Division received 100 students of Traffic Police specialty and divided them into 8 squads; Public Security Divisions of Cau Giay, Tu Liem Nam, Bac Tu Liem Districts received 112 students of Administration on Social Order specialty; Temporary detention camp No. 1 received 67 students of Management, education and rehabilitation of prisoners specialty. During practicing period, the PPA’s students directly observed the daily work of the police officers, did a number of assigned and allowed tasks, had a good sense of discipline, executed the living and working schedule, actively participated in the assigned work, got a good review from the units of Hanoi Public Security Department. As a result, the conference confirmed the effectiveness and feasibility of the Pan and agreed to continue to implement the model of practice - study in the near future.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Tran Hai Quan - Head of Personnel Organization Division, Hanoi Public Security Department congratulated the initial success of the Plan and affirmed that Hanoi Public Security Department always attached great importance to the coordination relation with the police training institutions, especially the PPA in training, research and collaboration in ensuring the security at the PPA’s area. He also appreciated the serious, methodical preparation and implementation of the PPA. In the process of implementation of the Plan, Hanoi Public Security Department directed the related units to receive, assign tasks to students, assign the guiding officers and facilitate the students to complete the task. Colonel Tran Hai Quan hoped that the PPA and Hanoi Public Security Department would be closely coordinated to the in-depth and effective implementation of the Plan.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the Directorate of the PPA, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat, Vice President of the PPA thanked the precious relationship and sense of responsibility of Hanoi Public Security Department for the work of education and training of the PPA, especially in the process of implementing this Plan. Based on evaluating results, advantages and disadvantages in the process of implementation of the Plan, the PPA would study and extend the model in other specialties; the Departments of the PPA should be based on the teaching schedule to actively propose, plan, specific contents for each subject in advice of implement to ensure the training effectiveness. The Vice President of the PPA also requested the Training Department to research, extend this model in police training institutions to contribute to improving the quality of education and training in the Public Security force.
