The 12^th National Party Congress held from Jan 20^th to 28^th, 2016 was a political event of great significance for the country's development in the new situation. The Congress passed important documents with not only immediate meaning but also long-term strategic meaning for the development of our country, in which the Resolution of 12^th National Party Congress is the gathering of intelligence, will and aspiration of the whole Party and the people, further confirm and complete the national building paths in the new period. The Resolution of 12^th National Party Congress in the work of prevention and fighting against crimes is an important, urgent task to provide the police forces with important orientations in practical fighting and teaching in schools.

The purpose of the conference is to clarify and provide correct understanding on the international, regional and domestic situation and its impact on the prevention and fighting against crimes, ensuring security and order; to grasp thoroughly the 12^th National Party Congress Resolution on politics, economy, culture, society, defense, security and foreign affairs associated with the task of preventing and combating crimes, ensuring order and safety; to raise awareness and implement the 12^t National Party Congress Resolution on building revolutionary, regular, elite People's Police force that meet the requirements, tasks of preventing and combating crimes, ensuring social order and safety in the new situation; to put the Resolution of 12th National Party Congress in the curriculum, education and training program of the PPA.

Concluding the Conference, Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of PPA emphasized: the research and understanding of the Resolution of 12^th National Party Congress should be continued, the conferences at the Ministerial, General Department and training institutional-level should be held. He thanked the leaders, scientists, physicians, teachers inside and outside the People's Police for their care, help and attendance, at the same time praised the Police Science Institute, Scientific Research Management Department and particularly the PPA Magazine who collaborated with the functional units to successfully organize this conference. The conference is premise for the PPA to continue studying, reminding faculties, departments, centers to put on the curriculum in order to innovate the education and training.
