Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Le Van De, Member of Standing Committee, Deputy Director General of the Political General Department of MPS; Colonel Bui Tien Manh, Deputy Director of the Political Management Department of MPS and representatives of relevant units.

On December 12th, 2014, the Minister of Public Security issued the Decision on establishing the Library of MPS. Currently, the Library is in the process of building infrastructure, especially material sources and ensuring other conditions to soon put the Library into operation.

To contribute to building the abundant material sources for the Library of MPS, the  Political General Department has launched a campaign on supporting books for the Library of MPS among the whole of  Public Security force to aim to serve and meet the needs of studying and researching of public security officers and soldiers in general as well as officers and soldiers working at the MPS in particular.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Bui Tien Manh, Deputy Director of Political Management Department expressed the profound thanks to the interest of the PPA’s leaders and directly the Centre of Archives and Library. He hoped that in the future, the Library of MPS would continue to receive more assistance from the PPA as well as other units to enrich the document source, contribute quickly complete the tasks assigned by MPS.
