In the morning of December
10th, at the PPA, the Central Theoretical Council in collaboration
with the Ministry of Science and Technology held the National Acceptance Meeting
of scientific research project on "Ensuring the social order and safety in
the new situation". Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President
of the PPA - the chairman of the research project.
Attending the official
acceptance were Prof. Dr. Vu Van Hien, Vice President in charge of the Central
Theoretical Council of the State; Lieutenant General, Dr. Tran Minh Thu,
Director of the Institute for Strategic and Scientific Research of MPS,
Chairman of the Acceptance Council and many scientists in the Council of Project
Assessment.

At the official acceptance of
the project on "Ensuring social order and safety in the new
situation", the Acceptance Council of the State assessed and clarified
the theoretical and practical issues on ensuring social order and safety; the
achievements and limitations, difficulties in ensuring social order and safety in
our country; Identified trends and changes of the factors effecting on ensuring
social order and safety. From that point, the project proposed additional solutions
to develop theory in improving efficiency of ensuring social order and safety in
our country in the new situation.
The
project has been carried out seriously, carefully and thoroughly, attracting
the participation of a large number of scientists and practical officials in
the Public Security Forces, full of scientific value; become precious practical
document source, serving for education and training in Public Security training
institutions. Particularly, the application of this project surpassed a lot of
required standards...

It was remarkable that the
project is selected to be used as material for setting up the documents for the
12nd Congressional Party and for summarizing 30 years of Innovation
of the country. Based on the content of research project, Board of Chairman compiled
and published 02 textbooks and 08 reference books; 20 articles were published
by the Public Security Forces.
In addition, a number of
proposals and recommendations of the Board of Chairman of the project were applied
in the field of ensuring social order and safety through out the country, which
made the significant contribution to ensure social order and safety, serving
for the country's development in the new situation.
With the absolute number of
votes from the Council, the project was officially accepted with excellent
result.
