Seminar on "Meeting with the Academy’s young officers, teachers on occasion of the Vietnamese Teacher's Day 20/11”

Attending the seminar were Lieutenant General,Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem-President of the PPA; Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat –Vice President of the PPA; Representatives of functional units and all young officers, teachers of the Academy.

Currently, the PPA has 673 young officers and teachers of under 35 years old, including 449 male, 224 female. For the qualification, there are 22 teachers with doctoral degree, 174 teachers with master degree and 477 teachers with bachelor degree. The young officers and teachers have been facilitated by the MPS, the Party, the Board of Directors of the PPA in working, studying and devoting process. The seminar was a chance for the academy’s  young officers and teachers to share and exchange advantages, difficulties and propose solutions to build a strong group of young teachers who meet teaching requirements and responsibilities of the PPA,deserving the key training Institution of the sector, striving to become a national major trainning Institution in 2018.

expected young officials, teachers to “love their job more, be more dynamic”

At the seminar, the participants discussed and proposed ideas concerning the following contents: The teaching and learning of the academy’s officers, teachers and students; policies; scientific research. Young officers, teachers wished the Academy to continue investing more funds in modern equipment, serving teachers’ teaching and researches; creating a playground for cadres and teachers after stressful lectures; opening soft skill classes as foreign language, computer science; presentation skill, public mobilization skill, etc.

The participants also recommended the Party Committee and the Board of Directors to further promote attachment of theory with practice in teaching through inviting good-experienced rapporteurs, experts to directly train students; enabling them to be in contact with practice in scientific research and study process at the Academy to equip skills and knowledge for job after graduation.

After listening to the comments, recommendations and suggestions given by young officers and teachers at the seminar, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat – Vice President of the PPA recognized and answered opinions, recommendations and proposals of seminar participants. TheVice President  also stressed:The Seminars between the academy’s leaders and young officers, teachers are necessary and should be held regularly. Through the seminars the democracy among officers and teachers would be promoted, then each of young officers and teachers could  understand more clearly his/her role and responsibility in research and teaching. This is an opportunity for the Party Committee and the Board of Directors to listen and explain recommendations officer and teachers . Thereby, the academy could set out proper guidelines and solutions on improving  the training quality of the Academy.

Speaking at the seminar, the Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - President of the PPA recognized and praised the outstanding achievements young officers, teachers have contributed to the Academy in recent years. The President of the PPA emphasized "The value was in difficult conditions, adversity brings wisdom"; young officers and teachers should "love their job more, be more dynamic" "be honored, proud to be officers and students of the heroic PPA”. At the same time, he expressed his confidence in the initiative, creativity and responsibility of each young  officer and teacher, hoped that they would continue to study and practice well, together with the Academy to overcome difficulties, improve training quality and actively contribute to making the PPA  more developed and integrated.
