Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat - Vice President, Deputy Chief of Organizing committee presided the meeting. Attending the meeting was members of the Organizing Committee, Board of Examiners; representatives of leaders, officers and teachers of the Academy, lecturers participating in the contest and representative students of the academy’s courses.

 

The over view of the meeting

After hard and efficient work from 2nd to 16th, November, the Professional Councils evaluated 53 lectures in 6 areas: Theory of Politics, Humanity and Psychology Social Science; Law, Basic Police Profession; Criminology; Investigation Profession,  Reconnaissance and Criminal Forensic Science, Administration Management, Transportation, Criminal Sentence Execution and Justice Assistance; Foreign Language and Computer Science, Military and Martial Arts, Sports and Armed Police.

With the attention and guidance of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, the initiative of functional units and teaching units, the contest was taken place as plan. Members of Organizing Commitee, Board of Examiners Council, Secretariat, Board of Exam Question and Evaluation were highly qualified and well experienced. Especially, the Organizing Committee Members,worked very hard and efficiently with high responsibility, objectivity, proper process and good compliance with regulations, rules and good completion of tasks,accurate evaluation of quality and ability of each lecture in the contest.

Final result, there were 8 outstanding lecturers winning the first prize, 13 lecturers winning the first runner up, 18 lecturers winning the seecond runner up and 52 recognized as good lessons at the academy level in 2015-2016 academic year. Regarding to the collective prizes, the first prize belonged to the Department of Mathematics - Informatics, the second prize belonged to the Faculty of Investigation Police and the third prize belonged to the Department of Basic Profession.

Attending the meeting, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat - Vice President of the PPA praised and highly appreciated the lecturers’ lively participation and responsibility, at the same time, pointed out the limitations and shortcomings during the organization process. To improve the academy’s training quality in the future, Vice President of the Academy asked the teaching units and functional units to promptly select, train and create the best conditions for lecturers to participate in the best lecturers contest of  the Public Security training Institution under directions of the Academy’s Party Committee and Board of Directors. Leaders of Faculties, Departments and Centers should review the current teaching condition in their units, focus on teaching and teaching approval. The functional units should gather feedbacks from learners to build specific plans to renew the teaching methods and improve the teaching quality at the Academy.
 
Speaking at the meeting, representative for the staffs, lecturers attending the contest, Captain Nguyen Van Tuan – Lecturer of  the Faculty of Criminal Sentence Execution and Justice Assistance - the PPA expressed deep gratitude to the Party Committee, Board of Directors of the PPA, Executive Committee, Party Branch, Leaders of Faculties, Departments and Divisions in the Academy who had concerned, supported and created a useful playground for lecturers, contributing to improving the teaching quality. On behalf of the faculty’s lecturers of the Academy, he promised to love job more, strive constantly and take best efforts in teaching and research so as to be honored, proud to be officers and students of the PPA.

The best lecturer contest in 2015 -2016 academic year was held successfully, achieved the required purposes. The Contest have demonstrated  in pedagogical skills, qualifications, teaching creativity, career passion, significantly contributing to the Cause of improving education and training quality of the PPA.
