This is one of the many sports competitions held to create exciting and competitive atmosphere for staffs, lecturers, employees towards the 50th anniversary of the PPA. The tournament thereby helped them to build up stamina, enhance health, flexibility, iron will, and open up the opportunity to exchange, learn, strengthen the solidarity and cohesion among individuals, collectivities in the Academy.

Attending the Opening Ceremony were Colonel, Associate Professor, Doctor Pham Cong Nguyen - Deputy Director of the PPA, Head of the PPA Tennis Club and representatives of functional units and athletes who participated in the competition.

Colonel, Associate Professor Pham Cong Nguyen, Deputy Director of the PPA, presented flowers to cheer the athletes participating in the tournament.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel, Associate Professor, Doctor Pham Cong Nguyen, Deputy Director of the Academy expressed his wish for a successful the tournament. Simultaneously, he kindly requested the athletes to perform their best and uphold the spirit of solidarity - honesty - magnanimousness for achieving high results, making for the success of the tournament.

According to Colonel Pham Cong Nguyen, this is the first tennis tournament to be held at the Academy. Beyond its purpose of contributing to the vigorous development of the physical training and sports activities, the tournament also create a chance to discover outstanding untapped talents for the academy's tennis team.
