The meeting had the attendance of Major General, Prof. Dr. Ngo Sy Hien - Director of the Institute of Forensic Science, former Head of Forensic Science Department of the PPA; the generations of leaders and lecturers of the Forensic Science Department and more than 350 students of the specialty of Forensic Science of the Academy. The event also had the presentation of police officers from Phuc Tho district, Gia Lam district  -Hanoi Public Security Department, Do Son District - Hai Phong Public Security Department, Investigation Agency - People's Procuracy Supreme, Criminal Investigation Department - Ministry of Defense and many other units inside and outside the Public Security force.

As for the PPA were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - Secretary of Party Committee, President of the PPA and Senior Colonel, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan, Vice President of Academy; leaders of the functional units in the Academy.

Over 60 years of building and development, the Forensic Science force has made great contributions to protecting the security and social order of the country, unfailingly playing an important role in the criminal investigation and prevention. Along with the growth of National Forensic Science force, the Department of Forensic Science of the PPA has always strived to maintain the heroic tradition of the Academy in particular and the Forensic Science force in general, greatly contributing to the education and training of the PPA. Nowadays, the Department of Forensic Science has confirmed its position as a leading training unit on Forensic Science for internal and external agencies of the Public Security force.

The meeting took place in a friendly, open atmosphere. The questions of generations of students for the lecturers who have worked in the Department of Forensic Science in the early years of its foundation provided an opportunity for lecturers to share their memories. Despite the difficulties and shortage of a newly established unit, with a stable spirit, the generations of leaders and lecturers of the Department of Forensic Science have had numerous great achievements in teaching, studying and scientific research. At the meeting, the delegates also shared memories of actual cases, showing the great role of the Forensic Science forces in investigating crimes.

Speaking at the meeting, Senior Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan, Vice President of the Academy emphasized the importance of the work of Forensic Science in the Cause of building and protecting the nation as well as the contribution of Department of Forensic Science of the PPA to the education and training for National Forensic Science Force. The Vice President of the PPA suggested that the Department of Forensic Science constantly improve the quality of teaching to meet the increasing demands of the criminal prevention and suppression.

The meeting helped the generations of officers, lecturers and students of the Department of Forensic Science understand and respect the great contributions of the Department to the education and training of the PPA, consolidating the love and pride of students in the Forensic Science specialty.
