The People’s Police Academy (PPA) held a ceremony in Hanoi on November 19 to opens its 2020 – 2021 school year. Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS) attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc highly appreciated the achievements that the officers, teachers and students of the PPA attained in the last school year.
Under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc attaches the insignia of the First-class “Fatherland Protection” Order to the traditional flag of the PPA.
In the coming time, the Deputy Minister asked the PPA continue to improve the quality of scientific research associated with education and training so that students can quickly take on their work after their graduation. The PPA should also increase the application of information technology to build "Smart Academy".

Over the past 45 years, generations of teachers, workers, and students at the PPA have successfully fulfilled their tasks assigned by the Party, State, and people. For its contributions, the PPA has been honored with the First-class “Fatherland Protection” Order by the State President.

The PPA also received the Government's excellent emulation flag for its outstanding achievement in the last school year.
At the ceremony, the MPS officially announced the decision to launch the first-ever Drum Art Team of the Public Security Forces under the management of the PPA with the aim of serving important political and cultural events held by the Ministry of Public Security and State.
