The Center for Traffic Safety Research of the People's Police Academy (PPA) in collaboration with donors on September 14 visited and presented meaningful gifts to pediatric patients at the National Institute of Haematology-Blood Transfusion (NIHBT).
The program, which aimed to bring a meaningful Mid-Autumn to child-patients, was supported by 5 Web Vietnam Technology JSC and Ducati Hanoi Club for the purpose of bringing.
At the event, the charitable mission presented 20 packs of gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to children from very poor families, and offered 400 free meals totally worth 10 million VND to children under treatment at the Pediatric Department of the NIHBT.
Officers and soldiers of the PPA and kind donors also went to every child patient's bed, inquired after them and presented 200 moon cakes to them.
Within the program, the Center for Traffic Safety Research also presented a handbook on road traffic safety for students to the Library of the NIHBT.
Although these gifts were not very valuable but meaningful, reflecting the sentiments of the officers and soldiers of the PPA and the kind donors for the children who are struggling against serious diseases. They also served as a source of encouragement for the child patients to overcome their diseases.
