PPA organizes training program on E-Learning

Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA, Head of E-Learning Project Board attended and opened the training programs on E-Learning; members of the Project Board, technicians and lecturers of the Faculty of Crime Scene Investigation, the Faculty of Anti-High Tech Crime were also invited to attend the Event.

At the training, representatives and lecturers were introduced effective teaching methods and instructed “The support systems to online teaching and learning, the way to build E-Learning lecture”. The lecturers were also provided accounts to log in the system, practice the way of deploy the features of the system as a lecturer.

 

In order to increase the diversity of the teaching and learning of lectures and students, support students to self-study by access the lectures, documents, etc. through in-room computer network in dormitory, and provides more channels of information, data, learning materials for the students to serve the model of the credits training, on December 13th, 2012, the PPA has issued decision No. 1643/QD-T32-QLDT on establishing the E-Learning project in the PPA. The Project Board was decided under the direction of Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Head of Project Board, other members are Director of Centre for Information, Library & Material Resources and Head of the Department of Student Management.

reported about the E-Learning Project 

After a period of researching, editing and testing for techniques, the E-Learning project has completed basically and can be able to apply to the work of teaching and learning at the PPA. To ensure the feasibility of the project, the Project Board will pilot the E-learning project at the Faculty of Forensic Science, the Faculty of Anti-High Tech Crime and for the two chosen classes of 4th year students (B13.D36 and B8.D36). At the end of the second semester of this school year, the E-Learning project will be summarized to draw experience before applying for the rest professional faculties of the PPA.
