Responding to
the activities in “The Youth month” mobilized by Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth
Union and being accepted by the Party Committee, Directorate of the PPA
together with the Executive Committee of the Academy’s Youth Union, on March 8th,
2015, the PPA’s students took part in the Red Spring Festival at My Dinh
National Stadium - Ha Noi Capital.
The Red Spring
Festival was co-held by the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion,
Ha Noi City’s Steering Committee of motivating blood donation along with the Ha
Noi Youth Association of motivating blood donation. This was the biggest event
of donating blood in this year in order to provide a large amount of blood to
treat and give first aid to the patients right after the Tet holidays.
Simultaneously, it was to continue appealing to the interest and support of the
press in the work of propagating to raise the community awareness about
voluntary blood donation.

With the message
“Red
background, green edge, sparkling red drop of the soldiers”, the PPA’s
students contributed to the Red Spring Festival about 80 units of blood and
cheerfully appealed the Youth Union members to donate their blood. Bringing
warm drops of blood to Red Spring Festival, the PPA’s students hoped to ease
the worries and hardship of the patients who could not pay for treatment.

Along with the
groups of volunteers coming from the colleges and other volunteer units in Ha
Noi, the PPA’s volunteers built the camp to display and sell some products,
such as police bears, key hooks, etc. with a view to raising the charity fund
to help the families having difficult conditions. The effervescent performances
of flash mob, art exchange also happened cheerfully at the festival, which
appealed the attention of most of the volunteers. The activities at the
festival contributed to build the image of young police officers who were not
only enthusiastic and active but also friendly and humane.
