In close cooperation with the voluntary group, there were representatives from functional units, social organizations of the PPA, the Youth Branches of Basic Profession Department, Student Management Department of the PPA and 70 students of course D37 on internship in Phu Tho province.

The group collected a significant donation of over 2 tons of clothes, 50 sets of new bedding, 200 cartons of Zoot milk, 50 gifts for Tet holiday and 30 noodles boxes for the local people in Tinh Nhue commune.

The voluntary group worked with the Party Committee of Tinh Nhue commune

At noon on the 31^st January, the PPA voluntary group attended the greeting meeting with the local police officers, the Youth Union and people’s committees of Thanh Son district to initiate and jointly conduct the voluntary program in Tinh Nhue commune. At 13.30 pm, having worked with Committee Party, the group then distributed gifts towards clinics and kindergartens in the village, simultaneously encouraged locals to come and receive health check-ups, treatment, counselling and aid at the communal medical station. Additionally, the group also visited and shared difficulties with six policy families of Tinh Nhue commune; they expressed the deep sympathy and encouraged them to overcome their hardship and continuously strive to build a better life.

In the same day, the voluntary group organized the gala named “For the peace of life” with the Tinh Nhue local people. The program was attended by all voluntary units and a large number of local people in the commune. On behalf of the voluntary group, Mr. Le Van Tu - Secretary of the Youth Union of PPA delivered the opening speech and profoundly thanked all units that had bought success to the voluntary work in Tinh Nhue commune and created a close relationship among three organizations. He hoped that the small gifts could contribute to improving everyday life and aid the development of the commune. As part of the program, 30 gifts along with the new blanket sets and the boxes of noodles were given to the needy households. In addition to this act, the representatives from the traffic bureau of Phu Tho police held the propaganda about Road Traffic Law in an attempt to raise awareness of the civilians and minimize the traffic accidents on corresponding scale.

The voluntary group urged the locals to come and receive medical treatment

Despite the short program, it promoted the deeply humanitarian spirit among the police officers with the locals there. The small gifts partially dispelled the cold winter and brought the cozy Tet holiday to the people in Tinh Nhue commune. The program aslo was regarded as the bridge for the relationship among three Youth Unions. Most importantly, it highlighted their pioneering role in promoting the voluntary activities.
