New contribution of thesis:

The thesis is a systematic and comprehensive study about investigating embezzlement of property in the banking sector of Economic Police Force with the following new features:

1. The thesis clarifies the basic characteristics of crimes of embezzling property in the banking sector as well as the basic theoretical issues of investigating this kind of crime of Economic Police Force.

2. The thesis evaluates the situation of property embezzlement in the banking sector and the situation of investigating this type of crime of Economic Police Force from 2005 to 2016. On that basis, the thesis highlights achievements, shortcomings as well as clarifies the reasons of these difficulties.

3. The thesis predicts the situation of property embezzlement in the banking sector in the future and proposes some scientific solutions to Economic Police Force to fight effectively against embezzlement offenses in the banking sector. The theoretical and practical aspects of the thesis contribute to the development of regulations on investigating this kind of crime in the banking sector by Economic Police Force.

4. The results of the thesis help the local Economic Police Force improve the contents and methods of investigation to be suitable for the practical requirements of crime prevention and suppression. Moreover, research results, especially orientations and solutions, help overcome shortcomings, improving the effectiveness of criminal investigation in the near future.
