New contributions of the thesis:

1. The thesis focuses on researching and analyzing some typical domestic and foreign scientific works related to the research on poison traces in criminal investigation of the Forensic Science force. Thereby, it identifies the problems that need to be studied and solved in the thesis.

2. The thesis contributes to building and supplementing the theory on the poison traces in criminal investigation, such as: Concept, meaning, legal basis, content, method, means of conducting and coordinating relations in the research of poison traces in criminal investigation.

3. The thesis conductes an objective and comprehensive survey of the relevant situation and the status of the research on poison traces in criminal investigation of the Forensic Science force, from 2010 to the end of 6/2020. From the collected data, the thesis evaluates the achieved results, limitations, shortcomings and causes of these limitations and shortcomings in research on poison traces in criminal investigation of the Forensic Science force.

4. On the basis of forecasting the factors affecting the research on poison traces in criminal investigation, the thesis proposes some solutions and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the research on poison traces in criminal investigation of the Forensic Science force in the coming time.

The results presentes in the thesis has scientific value and can be used in the process of research, teaching, compiling textbooks and references in the police training institutions.
