New contributions of the thesis:

1. The thesis has built up, complemented, and contributed to perfect the theory covert management of drug-related offenders by the Border Guard Forces of the Vietnam - Laos border provinces consisting of new findings as followed: providing definition, pointing out features, legal foundation; clarifying contents, measures, work of command and controll, and the cooperative relation in Covert management of drug-related offenders by the Border Guard Forces of the Vietnam - Laos border provinces.

2. The thesis has evaluated, clarified the realities of covert management of drug-related offenders by the Border Guard Forces of the Vietnam - Laos border provinces from 2016 to the end of 2025. Thereby, the thesis has made comments, evaluations on strengths, weaknesses and the reasons of the weaknesses.

3. The thesis has provided the predictions on covert management of drug-related offenders by the Border Guard Forces of the Vietnam - Laos border provinces in the years to come and other effecting factors in the foreseeable future; put forward a number of scientific, plausible solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of covert management of drug-related offenders by the Border Guard Forces of the Vietnam - Laos border provinces in the years to come.
