Cultural exchange night to celebrate 40 years of the Vietnamese-Japanese diplomatic relationship

Attending the Ceremony were Mr. IWASE Satoshi, 1st Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam; Mr. Kubo Yoshitomo, Deputy Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA); the National Police Officers of Japan; leaders of Vietnamese Interpol Office; and other relevant agencies. As for the PPA were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, the President of the PPA; members of the Party Committee, Directorate of the PPA as well as the leadership representatives of the functional Departments within the Academy and numerous of students.

delivered a speech in the Ceremony

Beginning the cultural exchanges, Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA delivered the opening speech. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude to assistances of agencies and organizations such as the Embassy of Japan, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) ... in deploying the support activities for the PPA. He confirmed that the PPA always expected to receive more supports and cooperation from Japan to build the PPA becoming the key training institute in the coming period.

 

Responding to the PPA’s affection to Japan, Mr. IWASE Satoshi, 1st Secretary of the Embassy of Japan expressed his love to Vietnam Nation as well as Vietnamese people and close friendship between the two countries. Mr.IWASE Satoshi hoped that the Japan - Vietnam relationship would become deeper in the near future and believed that the Japan - Vietnam relationship in general as well as the co-operation between the concerned agencies of with the Japan - PPA in particular would achieve more significant achievements.

In the exchange between Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA and Mr.IWASE Satoshi and Mr. Kubo Yoshitomo, Deputy Chief Representative of JICA in Vietnam; once again the President of the PPA expressed his gratitude to the friendship cooperation from Japan to the PPA during the past years and hoped that this relationship would continue to be developed on many fields. The Representatives of Japanese side were very excited about the PPA’s affection and insisted that the love between the two countries would become more durable.

 

On the occasion, many items of cultural performances were shown to praise close relationship between Vietnam and Japan.

The cultural exchanges night had made good impression about the relationship between Vietnam - Japan in general and the PPA with counterparts of Japan in particular. This was also good chance for the participants to learn more deeply about Japanese culture as well as emotional attachment of Japan to the PPA during the past time.
