On November 4th, 2013, the PPA
formally held the Graduation Ceremony and presenting Certificate of Bachelor
Degree in Police for Laotian students of the 22nd full-time course,
school year 2007-2013. Attending the Ceremony were Senior Colonel, Dr. Tran
Minh Chat, Vice President of the PPA; Senior Colonel Kieng Kham, Representative
of the Embassy of Laos P.D.R in Vietnam and students of the course.
Implementing the Cooperative Agreement
between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Public
Security of Laos, the PPA has organized the full-time course on two
specialties, namely: Economic Police and Criminal Forensics, for 40 officials of
the Ministry of Public Security of Laos. Over the six years of training, the
graduated students have fully equipped the professional capacity to fulfill the
duty of prevention and fight against crimes in Laos P.D.R.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Senior
Colonel, Dr. Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the PPA thanked the leaders of the
Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam for the assistance as well as the
Ministry of Public Security of Laos and the Embassy of Laos in Vietnam for
their close collaboration to finish the course successfully. He also praised
the spirit of studying, discipline, solidarity of the Laotian students and
congratulated the new police Bachelors on completing targets, curriculum of the
course. On behalf of the Directorate of the PPA, Senior Colonel Tran Minh Chat wished
the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos would increasingly
unshakeable.
