On the occasion of working in Xieng Khoang Province, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA presented the Doctor Degree Certification for three high-ranking official of Laos, namely Xom Suc Xim Pha Vong, Vice President of Xieng Khoang Province; Xom Sac Seng A Phon, Deputy Director of Public Security Department of Xaynhabuly Province; Phu Thon, Director of the Police Department for Anti-Economic-related Crime Investigation, the Ministry of Public Security of Laos P.D.R.

Also, the PPA delegation visited and worked with the Public Security Department of two provinces of Xieng Khoang and Luong Phabang. During the meeting, the PPA delegation was introduced about the structure and organization, activities and the gained achievements in mission of ensuring the political security, social order and safety of the police forces of the two provinces, especially the prominent achievements in maintaining security along the border area between Laos P.D.R and Vietnam.

Speaking at the meeting, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA highly-appreciated the achievements of the police forces of Xieng Khoang and Luong Phabang Provinces. He expressed his desire that the police forces of the two provinces would enhance more cooperation and close-knit link with the police force of Vietnam in the coming time, especially the closed cooperation between the police force of  Nghe An and Son La Provinces on combating transnational crimes relating to the two countries.
