In the morning of 22nd October, 2015, the Political General Department of Ministry of Public Security held “The commendation ceremony for first rank students in the university entrance exam and outstanding graduate ones of public security training institutions in 2015”.Senior Lieutenant General Tran Viet Tan, Deputy Minister of the Public Security attended the ceremony.
In addition, there was the presence of Major General, Assoc. Prof, Dr. Do Ngoc Can, Deputy General Director of the Political General Department; Major General, Bui Minh Giam, Director of the Training Department of the MPS; representatives of the Departments, the training institutions of MPS and 54 honorable students.

According to the report of studying and training movement among People’s Public Security training institutions in the academy year 2014 -2015 and the result of first-rank students in the university entrance examination along with the outstanding graduate students, Comrade Major General, Do Ngoc Can – Deputy General Director of the Political General Department highlighted: “During the past academy year, the movement of studying and training in People’s Public Security training institutions achieved many positive results. The academy year 2014-2015 summed up with 10 excellent students; 645 good students; 5730 fair students; 201 students were commended by the Ministry of Public Security; 456 students were commended by the General Department; 5368 students were complimented by Academies as well as the other training institutions; 1548 students were awarded by other Agencies.
Especially, 54 outstanding students were actually the typical ones of the People’s Public Security training institutions. In particular, 26 students were first rank students representing for 4425 enrolled students of the People’s Public Security universities (Tran Trung Duc from the PSA; Nguyen Cong Linh from the PPA); 25 outstanding students were first rank graduate students of the People’s Public Security universities (Pham Tien Thinh B22D43 from the PSA, Nguyen Phuong Linh B4D36 from the PPA); 03 outstanding graduate students of the People’s Public Security Cultural Schools in 2015 (Chau Thu Hien from the Cultural school I, Danh Hong Sa from the Cultural School II and Du Hong Thai from the Cultural School III).

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of the MPS, Senior Lieutenant General, Tran Viet Tan - Deputy Minister of Public Security acknowledged, highly appreciated and warmly praised the achievements of the first rank students in the university entrance exam and outstanding graduate ones of People’s Public Security training institutions in 2015. He also confirmed that 54 students presenting in ceremony that day were the most outstanding students of the brilliant ones. Many of those overcame difficult circumstances to get considerable achievements in studying, have brilliant scientific researches and get high prizes in national contests. They were really the typical examples of the movement of good teaching, studying and training. He suggested: “The typical graduate students, at any official positions, should clearly identify the assigned tasks, be active and creative to put your knowledge and skills obtained from universities into practice in order to accomplish all duty, greatly contribute to the career of building and defending the Fatherland.
As for students joining in the university entrance exam to the People’s Public Security universities, you overtook thousands of students to become the first rank students. The future is waiting for you. Being responsible to yourself, your families and society, you should keep studying; self-improve in all aspects; set up your goals as well as proper motivation to be positive factors with a view to leading the studying and training movement, spreading the traditional light of the previous generations," he added.
