Collectives and individuals receive certificates of merit and noble prizes on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Academy’s foundation

Over 50 years of building and developing, officers, lecturers and employees of the PPA have constantly strived, overcome all difficulties and hardships to achieved many successes, fulfiling all tasks assigned by the Party and the Ministry.

The PPA has been at the forefront of innovating the programs and methods of teaching and learning, is also the first institution in the People's Public Security Schools to study and promulgate the output standards for regular students. To enhance international cooperation, attach importance to scientific research, meeting the practical requirements of protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety in the new period. The academy is also assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to train and forster leaders, commanders and trainees for the Ministry of National Defense, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Supreme People's Court, the Ministry of Justice, Border Guards High Command, Coast Guard High Command, ...

Recognizing the contributions of individuals and collectives in the fields of education and counselling, in 2012, The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam conferred the title “Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the renovation period”. On Jan 26th 2018, the Academy was conferred the title “Hero of the People's Armed Forces during the American Vietnam war” and other noble rewards.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the PPA’s foundation, 45 collectives and nearly 250 individuals have been rewarded by the authorities at all levels:
The Minister of Public Security awarded certificates of merit to 03 collectives and 5 individuals; The Minister of National Defense awarded certificates of merit to 02 collectives and 05 individuals; The Minister of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit to 02 collectives and 05 individuals; The Minister of Finance awarded certificates of merit to 02 collectives and 05 individuals; The chief judge of the Supreme People's Court awarded certificates of merit to 03 collectives and 04 individuals; The chairman of the Supreme People's Procuracy awarded certificates of merit to 02 collectives and 05 individuals; Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 02 collectives and 05 individuals; General Director of People’s Public Security Politics awarded certificates of merit to 01 collective, 05 individuals; Border Guard High Command awarded certificates of merit to 03 collectives and 05 individuals; Coast Guard High Command awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 10 individuals; The General Director of the General Department of Criminal Sentence Enforcement and Judicial Assistance awarded certificates to 05 collectives and 10 individuals; Commander of Mobile Police High Command awarded certificates of merit to 05 collectives and 10 individuals.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General, Associate Prof. Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the PPA, thanked the leaders of the Ministries, Departments, the People's Committee of Hanoi, High Commands for recognizing and rewarding collectives and individuals. In the coming time, all officers and soldiers of the Academy will continue to bring into play the achievements and strive to make the Academy soon become a national key institution.
