The meeting for anniversary of the establishment of the People's Army of Vietnam is an annual activity, organized by the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the PPA to raise  pride of the heroic tradition of the People's Army of Vietnam for the staffs, students of the PPA in general and military  students in particular. From that, to assess  learning outcomes, typical examples as well as limitations of military  students in learning and practice, since then, set out targets and contribute to enhancing solidarity, cohesion between the military students and the people’s police students

Currently, the PPA is training hundreds of military  students in specialties of; Anti-Economic related Crime, General Investigation, Anti-Drug related crime Police, Criminal Forensic Science  and Anti-high-tech related Crime. During the study, students always have firm political spirit, actively study and follow the guidelines of the Party and  policies of the State as well as the regulations of the sector.

Speaking at the meeting, the Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thanh - Deputy Head of Student Management - Division 871 –Political General Department expressed profound thanks to the Party, Directors of the Academy for their interest and creation of favorable conditions for military students at the Academy. He emphasized that: People’s Army and People’s Police are two basic components of the People's Armed Forces and primary violence tools to protect the regime, the Party, State and people. Although army and police have different functions, tasks and organization scale of its own features, with specific characteristics of each force, they have the same origin, nature, interests, goals of national independence and socialism, for happiness of the people. Thus, in the growing and development process of each force, the cooperative relation between the army and the police is closer in all conditions and circumstances, especially in the most hardship, extreme periods of Vietnam Revolution. So, the Military Students studying at the PPA should try to study and train to overcome all difficulties, identify responsibilities and strive to fulfill the assigned tasks, contribute to building the strong People's Army officers of Vietnam , together the People’s Police Force to build the national defense and firm protection of the Socialism of Vietnam.

Lieutenant Colonel, PhD. Hoang Anh Tuan - Member of Party Executive Committee, Head of Student Management Department  of  the PPA sent good wishes to all officers and soldiers of People's Army of Vietnam in general and Division 871 – Political General  Department  , Criminal Investigation Department - Ministry of Defense and Military Students who are learning and training at the PPA in particular, and  confirmed the solid cooperation relationship between the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Public Security through the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh: "The army and police are the powerful arms of the people, the Party, the Government, the proletariat forces, should unite together and help each other". Therefore, the promotion of building the army forces and people’s police "revolutionary, regular, elite, gradually modernized", deserved to be loyal forces and trusted by the Party, State and people, successfully completing all  assigned tasks is especially important at current time, in which the training coordination between the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Public Security is one of the key factors contributing to the success of that task. At the ceremony, the Lieutenant Colonel, PhD. Hoang Anh Tuan informed the delegates and all participants about the future orientations of the PPA to enhance the training quality, contributing to further promoting cooperation between the two ministries and hope that military students would continue to their moral education and cultivation, get more achievements to become soldiers, "both red and experts", worthy "Uncle Ho's soldiers".
