Attending the Ceremony were Major General Tran Gia Cuong, Director of International Cooperation Department of M.P.S; Senior Colonel Van Chuc, Deputy Director of Department of Training, leaders of the Public Security Institutions. As for the PPA were members of the Directorate, leader of the functional departments as well as officers, lecturers and students of the Academy.

Implementation of the project on building and developing the PPA to become the key institution of the Ministry of Public Security in 2015, two new units of the PPA were established, namely the Department of International Cooperation and the Department of Mathematics – Informatics; the other two units, including the Research Center of Criminology and Crime Prevention and the Department of Administration Management was  renamed into the Research Center of Criminology and Crime Investigation and the PPA Office.

Speaking to congratulate and assign the task for the new units, Senior Colonel, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Thien Phu, Vice President of the PPA emphasized: with the functions are to advise, assist the Directorate; research and implement results of researching crime prevention and combating; organize to teach mathematics and informatics and implement the tasks of international cooperation, in the recent years, the a/m Departments would have many positive changes, confirm the important role of the new units. He requested that the staffs of the units had to quickly stabilize their organization, carry out effectively assigned tasks with the action slogan: "Unity - Discipline - Responsibility - Efficiency". Besides, he also asked the related departments to coordinate closely and make favorable condition to help the new units.

The Decision on establishing and renaming 4 a/m units above continues to confirm the corrective direction of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the General Department of Building up Force on the way to build and develop the PPA becoming the key institution of the Ministry of Public Security as well as of the Nation in the coming years.
