The PPA was very honored to welcome Her Excellency, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, Member of Party Central Committee, Vice President of State; Senior Lieutenant General, Dr. Le Quy Vuong, Member of Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; leaders of the Party, the State, Ministries; leaders of General Departments, Departments, Police Training Institutions of the Ministry of Public Security; former lecturers as well as domestic and international guests to attend the Event. Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of PPA, the Directorate, all officers, lecturers and students of the Academy were attending.

the First-Class State Defense Order to the PPA

At the ceremony, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of PPA revised the glorious tradition of 45 years of construction and development of the PPA. Over the past 45 years, the PPA successfully completed its assigned tasks, contributed to building the Public Security Force becoming revolutionary, regular, elite, gradually modern. So far, the PPA has provided 39 regular bachelor courses, 22 master courses, and 19 doctorate courses for more than 40,000 officers including over 30,000 bachelors of law, nearly 2,000 masters of law, over 200 doctors of law and more than 6,000 commanders for the Forces of Public Security, Defense, Procuracy, Justice, Customs, Forest Management, Taxation, Market Management, Industry and Trade in the field of ensuring national security and social order. All graduated students from the PPA for generation have been developed in career, among those, many of them hold significant positions at the Central and Local agencies such as Party Central Committee members, Ministers, Deputy Ministers, provincial Party Secretaries, municipal People’s Committee Chairmen, leaders of general departments, departments, institutes of the Ministry of Public Security.

the First-Class State Defense Order and opening the academic year 2013 - 2014

On behalf of the State leaders, H.E. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, Member of Party Central Committee, Vice President presented the First-Class State Defense Order to the PPA for its outstanding achievements from academic year 2007 - 2008 to 2011 - 2012 in education and training, development of the Public Security Force, keeping public security and social order, making great contributions to the Cause of socialism building and State defense.

On this occasion, the PPA celebrated the inauguration of the first Phase of Police Professional Library. This is the very important building for the education and training of the Academy, that to celebrate the PPA’s 45th Anniversary of establishment.

  the Professional Police Library

The construction of Police Professional Library started on 9^th November 2011 covering an area of nearly 1.500m2 with 1 basement, one technique-floor and 12 stores including lobby, the People's Police Academy Museum to display the images, documents of the PPA’s construction and development to traditional education for generations of staff, faculties and students of the school; and the remaining floors are used as different functions of the library. The whole construction will have been completed by next September.
