On November 29th, at the PPA Headquarter
in Hanoi, the PPA in collaboration with Public Security Department of Phu Tho
Province formally held the Closing Ceremony on the 2nd in-service alliance
training course opened at Public Security Department of Phu Tho Province,
school year 2008 - 2013.
Attending the Ceremony were Major
General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA; Senior Colonel Pham
Dinh Dao, Deputy Director of Department of General Staff; Senior Colonel Nguyen
Van Thu, Deputy Director of Public Security Department of Phu Tho Province; Senior
Colonel Do Van Hoanh, Deputy Director of Public Security Department of Vinh
Phuc Province; Representatives of the PPA’s units, Public Security Department
of Provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Yen Bai and Tan Lap Prison as well as all
the students of the course.

During 5 years of studying, all the
trainees were provided with basic knowledge; updated new information about
policies of the Party and the State on the fields of politics, economy,
culture, society and national defense. Especially, all of the trainees were equipped
with knowledge on research methodology, reality summarization with a view to
enhancing professional skills of the Criminal Investigation specialty.

At the end of the course, more than 170 students
accomplished the curriculum and were awarded the Bachelor Degree; 18 of them
were rewarded for their achievements in class management and getting good
results in the final exam.

Speaking in the Closing Ceremony, Major
General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA praised the results of
all students. Simultaneously, he requested them to creatively apply what they
had learnt into practice; continue to self-study and research in order to upgrade
their professional skills; satisfy the requirements of working and fighting in
new situation.
