Arts performance to celebrate the Vietnamese Teacher's Day

Major General Nguyen Trung Thanh, former Deputy Director General of the General Department of Building up Force, former President of the PPA; Prof.Dr. People’s Teacher Nguyen Duy Hung, former President of the PPA; former leaders of the functional units, unions and People’s Teachers, Meritorious Teachers, scientists who used to work at the Academy were invited to attend the event. At the ceremony, the lecturers and students of the PPA have honored to express their gratitude to the generations of teachers who have many contributions to building and development of the Academy, as well as reported the glorious achievements of the PPA in the previous years. Inheriting and promoting the Hero tradition of generations of the PPA, currently, the PPA has honored to have 24 People's Teachers and Meritorious Teachers, 6 Professors, 29 Associate Professors, nearly 90 Doctors and 300 Masters. This is the honor, pride and the great encouragement to the PPA as well as confirming the strong maturity and development of the generation of the officers, lecturers of the PPA on the way to build the Academy to become the key institutions of the Ministry of Public Security and the Nation.

The PPA’s President Nguyen Xuan Yem presented flowers to congratulate the teachers 

of the Academy who were awarded the title “People’s Teachers - Meritorious Teachers”

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Quy Ngo, Vice Minister of Public Security congratulated and praised the PPA’s achievements in the Cause of education, training and building the Public Security Force. He also required that in the coming time, the PPA have to continue to innovate and improve the quality of police training to meet the new demands of the country to protect security and order of the nation. Besides, he asked the Academy to invest more and more to the work of training the officers and lecturers, considered this is the most important breakthroughs of reforming modern education. He also proposed that the PPA should concern and encourage the physical and spiritual life of the officers and lecturers as well as enhance the relationships between senior teachers with young teachers, from that to draw experience and strive to build the Academy to become one of the leading Centers of Training and Scientific Research of the M.P.S.

At the Ceremony, 08 lecturers were honored to be awarded the Medal "For the Cause of Education" by the Ministry of Education and Training, 10 lecturers and officers were awarded the Medal "For the Cause of building and development of cultural, sports and tourism" by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; 13 lecturers were honored to be awarded the Certificate of Merit for achieving the title of excellence lecturers at all levels, 30 comrades were awarded the Certificate by the General Department of Building up Force, 20 units and 84 individuals were awarded the Certificate by the President of the PPA for their outstanding achievements during the special emulating movement to celebrate 45 years of traditional Day and welcome the Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. Especially, at the Ceremony, 10 lecturers were honored to be received the Decision for certifying the Titles of Professor, Associate Professor of the Security Science branch in 2013.
