On November 14th,
the PPA held a scientific seminar with the theme: "Positive teaching
methods in the credit based system" under the chairmanship of Major
General, Prof.Dr Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA and the
participation of scientists, lecturers of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of
Politics and Publics Administration, the University of Foreign Trade, the
University of Education within the Vietnam National University.
At the seminar,
the representatives introduced some of new teaching skills in the credit based
system. Besides, the participants focused to discuss some issues relating to
the credit based system, including:
- The
experiences in preparing a detailed teaching syllabus in the credit based
system;
- The positive
teaching methods in the credit based system;
- The ways to
guide students to find, read and write the report after reading the textbooks
and reference materials;

The seminar was
considered as a scientific forum in order that the teachers, scientists of the
PPA have the opportunity to study more experience in using the positive teaching
methods as well as to exchange and share experiences with other teachers,
especially the young teachers about the favorable conditions and difficulties
in both theory and practice relating to the positive teaching methods and
innovating teaching methods in the credit based system, which contributes to
heightening the quality of education, meet the targets, requirements and
mission of building the Academy to become the key Institutions of the Public
Security Force in 2015 and toward of the Nation in the future.
