At the conference, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat - Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Vice President of the PPA introduced the 71st National Public Security Resolution on ensuring the security and social order as well as launched the movement "For national security" in 2016.

In recent years, under the direct and comprehensive leadership of the Party, the State and the close collaboration of the ministries, branches, localities as well as the support of the people, the Public Security forces have always been striving for the successful completion of assigned tasks, which made important contribution to the protection of national security, maintaining social order and safety, effectively serving for the Cause of socio-economic development and the policies on foreign affair of the Nation.

To further successfully implement the preservation of social order and safety, the Ministry of Public Security required the Public Security at all levels to actively monitor the situation and timely report and consult the Party, State on the policies and measures to ensure the security and order; continue to improve the legal system to protect the national security and maintain the social order and safety; further promote the training, retraining, raise the awareness and practical operation capacity of officers and soldiers. Each of the public security officers should implement the action slogan: "Initiative, discipline, responsibility and efficiency" and actively respond to the movement "For national security" in 2016 to ensure the maintenance of national security and social order and safety, meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Also at the Conference, under the chairmanship of Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Ngoc Ha - Vice President of the PPA, the participants discussed and made the suggestions around the contents relating to the education - training of Academy in the 1st semester of academic year 2015-2016.

In the first semester of the academic year 2015 - 2016, under the leadership of the Party, the Board of Directorate of the Academy, the officers, lecturers, employees and students of the Academy has made great efforts in the studying, training, scientific research, advices and serving, fulfilled the basic targets of the first semester.  In particular, each of the officers, lecturers and students of the Academy always uphold the spirit of responsibility in joining the movements and activities of the Party, the State and the Public Security Branch as well as the great events of the Academy which contributed to creating the emulation movements to improve the spiritual life for each of the officers, lecturers and students.

Speaking at the Conference, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - Party Secretary, President of the PPA recognized and praised the excellent contributions and achievements of the officers, lecturers and students in the first semester. He also hoped that the officers, lecturers and students would implement effectively the 71st National Public Security Resolution, through which made the consensus and determination to fulfill the tasks in the next semester, to be proud and honor as the officers of the heroic People's Police Academy".
