In recent years, in order to make a drastic change in management of education and training, the PPA has stepped up the application of information technology in the management of education and training. In addition to highly effective deployed applications such as the Electronic Management System, Credit-based Training Management System, Software of Admission - Graduation, E-learning Management System, in the academic year 2016 - 2017, the PPA has continued to improve the application of information technology to the management of education and training with three new software: lecture hall management software, lecturer management software, management software of printing diploma.

 (1) Lecture Hall Management Software: For the purpose of building the lecture halls that meet the requirements of teaching and studying, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the PPA has paid much attention to invest and mobilize the resources in order to equip the lecture halls with modern facilities.

Up to now, 100% of the lecture halls have been equipped with smart interactive panels, standard teaching facilities. Along with the process of equipping the facilities, the PPA has deployed the lecture hall management software to standardize the management of lecture halls. This software manages information on classrooms, lecture halls, all facilities in classrooms about process of investment, equipment, exploitation, repair, maintenance and liquidation; provide reports, statistics on lecture halls.

In addition, the software also helps to manage the observance of regulations on the use and management of lecture halls such as the school-time of students, teaching activities of lecturers, etc.

 (2) Lecturer Management Software: The software manages lecturers’ information of the PPA such as résumé, process of completing teaching titles, scientific research activities, curriculum materials compilation, management of teaching activities of lecturers, etc. Furthermore, the software also helps manage the activities of good teaching, good lecturer contest, invited lecturers, etc.

 (3) Management software of printing diploma: All printed diplomas have QR CODE, integrated AES encryption algorithm and RSA digital signature for security and identification of diplomas. With the proven algorithm of security in the world, all diplomas issued by the PPA cannot be faked. People who wish to verify the diploma can check online by using the “T32 diploma checker” software which has the function of deciphering and checking the digital signature to check the information of the diploma holder.

Speaking at the program, Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA affirmed the effectiveness of the Electronic Management System and the necessity of the application of information technology in the management of education - training in the PPA.

The Vice President of the PPA asked the Department of Training Management to continue researching and coordinating with experts to perfect the software for the management of education and training; at the same time, build the regulations related to the process of operating, managing and using the software to disseminate all officers and lecturers.

The units related to teaching and training management should closely coordinate with the Department of Training Management, timely reflect the errors occurring in the process of using to improve the softwares. He suggested the units of the PPA update fully information according to the features of the software to gradually build the database system of the E-PPA.

With the implementation of the theme “Standardization - computerization - modernization”, the deployment of software, promoting the application of information technology in education and training management is regarded as the important motive for building the PPA to become a national key university in 2018, meeting the requirements of training high quality human resources for the crime prevention and suppression, national security defense, assurance of social order.
